Idukki district cooperative hospital, as the name indicates was found and run by a team of social workers with the aim to serve society through the co operation of public. Through the skilled and qualified healthcare professionals the hospital aimed to provide high quality healthcare at feasible rate. The developing health delivery culture and system enables the team to deliver patient centered care and services.

HISTORY

The 150 bedded specialty hospital was found on 1984. The Idukki District Cooperative Hospital Society Ltd. No.I.177 Thodupuzha Registered in 1984. It was under the leadership of sri. M. Jinadevan (Late) Ex. MLA, a veteran Co-operator, Social worker, Politician, President of State Co-Operative Bank, District Co-Operative bank Etc.
The aim of this venture is to provide modern treatment facilities to the common and needy people of the society at reasonable rate.
